The use of a biological dust suppressant for the prevention of mine dust was explored. A biological dust suppressant was prepared with Bacillus pasteurii, CaCl 2 and urea as raw materials. The results show that the surface tension of the bacterial solution and the CaCl 2-urea solution was 32.517 and 32.595 mN/m, respectively, which had a good effect on wetting coal dust.
